Steven is a polished pianist with nine years of formal classical training
and a lifetime love of the piano. His music crosses all barriers in the broad Contemporary
Instrumental category. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Steven started studying the
piano at age 8. His first paying music job, at 17, took him to the ballpark as the
organist for the Boston Redsocks minor league team in North Carolina. New Orleans
was his next stop. Pushing a piano around the streets of the French Quarter playing
his unique improvisational style that captivated and entranced all who passed. At
19, Steven set out for the west and found a home in the Canadian Rockies. This is
where his style of music flourished, becoming one of the most sought after soloists
for weddings and elegant dinner house entertainment. He has always steered clear
of the typical lounge standards preferring an unplanned spontaneous performance.
Never missing a note and creating beautiful melodies on the fly has always amazed
his listeners. Circumstances took Steven to Reno, Nevada where he now resides. Fascinated
with digital technology, he now loves to blend the beauty of acoustic instruments
with the synthesized sounds of strings and pads. After many encouraging requests
to put his music on CD, it is time for Steven to share his beautiful melodies with
the world.
